2-12-11: Junior Amanda Murphy Qualifies for State
Congratulations to Junior Amanda Murphy for qualifying for the IHSA State Tournament in both of her categories: OO and ES. Amanda placed 3rd in both categories in the finals to advance to the State competition to be held next weekend.
Amanda's accomplishment of being double-entered at the State Speech Tournament is an exceptional feat. In the history of RCHS Speech, she becomes only the seventh student to enter the State Tournament double-entered. She is in good company:
