The art department is dedicated to the achievement of visual literacy for RCHS students.  Our goal is to make sure that students understand and appreciate art, learn to become more aware of its importance in our society and other societies, and take an active part in their own art production.  We believe students should understand art of all societies and cultures.  Students are evaluated on creativity, technique, tools/processes, and development of skills.

Objectives for RCHS Art Department
Students will have the opportunity to:

• Evaluate, critique, and verbally express ideas
