VISUAL DESIGN

Grade Placement: 9, 10, 11, 12

Prerequisite: This class is a prerequisite for all other art classes. Students must receive a C or above in Visual Design before taking any other art classes. Students who receive a C can take any art class labeled intermediate. Students who receive an A or B can take any art class labeled intermediate or advanced. If a student receives a D, he/she must have instructor consent to continue with additional art classes.

Course Description: This class will explore the basics of Two-dimensional design with an emphasis on the elements and principles of design. Different media, historical art personalities, periods and styles will also be explored. This class has a $15 art fee.
