PowerSchool will be available to parents starting August 12, 2011. Bus information will NOW be available through PowerSchool. Letters are also being sent home on Friday, August 5 with parent usernames and passwords.

REGISTERING FOR SCHOOL AFTER TUESDAY, AUGUST 9TH, 2011
ANY STUDENT NOT REGISTERED BY AUGUST 9TH WILL HAVE TO WAIT TO REGISTER UNTIL ON OR AFTER FRIDAY, AUGUST 19TH. ANYONE REGISTERING ON AUGUST 19TH WILL NOT BEGIN SCHOOL UNTIL MONDAY, AUGUST 22ND AND WILL BE UNEXCUSED FOR THE 19TH. STUDENTS NOT REGISTERED BY AUGUST 9TH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BUS TRANSPORTATION UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1ST AT THE EARLIEST. To register on or after Friday, August 19th you will need to come to the Administrative Center. If you have questions please call 815-458-2307, ext. 3128.
NEW RESIDENTS
Evidence of residency must be submitted for anyone that has not been enrolled at Reed-Custer CUSD 255 the prior school year. Evidence may be requested from anyone at anytime, if there is reason to suspect that a violation may have occured. If residency is questioned by school authorities, the District reserves the right to conduct an investigation to determine the legal residency of the student. To show proof of residency you will need:
Home Owners:
______ Warranty deed, current tax bill, current mortgage statement showing name and address of parent/legal guardian listed above
______ Any two of the following (must be current): utility bill, bank statement, voters registration card, insurance policy, credit card statement showing the name and address of parent/legal guardian listed above
Renters:
______ Lease showing the name and address of parent/legal guardian and student(s) listed above. It must also include the name and contact information of Landlord; or Notarized letter from Home Owner verifying occupancy of parent/legal guardian and student(s) listed above
______ Any two of the following (must be current): utility bill, bank statement, voters registration card, insurance policy, credit card statement showing the name and address of parent/legal guardian listed above
Those Living in Another Family’s Home with Them:
______ Homeowner/Renter must submit a notarized letter stating that parent/legal guardian and students listed above reside in their home.
______ Homeowner/Renter must provide any two of the following (must be current): utility bill, bank statement, voters registration card, insurance policy, credit card statement showing their name and address
______ You must also provide at least one current document such as bank statement, voters registration card, showing your name with the address listed above
Everyone:
______ Driver’s license of parent/guardian (for identification purposes)
______ Students coming from another Illinois public school district must have the ISBE 33-78 “In Good Standing” student transfer form
