Flat Stanley in Alaska 2007

Alaska may have cold weather at times, but our Stanley received a warm reception from the great teachers and students at North Pole Elementary!

 

The students at NPE were so excited to have

Stanley visit they were turning cartwheels!

Stanley was having a great time!

 

 

 

Stan met the school mascot, the Huskie ...

A new friend for life!

 

 

Stanley found out that everyone at NPE loves to read ...

which is great, except that when students met their

reading goal ... one of the adults AND Stanley were

both taped to a bulletin board!

 

WHEW! That was fun while it lasted, but being outside

for outdoor art seemed a little less stressful! Stan's host

students were quite creative with their ideas!

Of course a trip to North Pole, Alaska would not be

complete without seeing that jolly old fellow in a suit

of red! Yes, kids, Santa is alive and well in North Pole, Alaska!
