
About RCIS
Reed Custer Intermediate School is one of the schools in the Reed-Custer Community School District 255-U, located about twenty miles south of Joliet, Illinois in the heart of fossil hunting country.
Fourth and fifth grade students participate in extra curricular activities of volleyball, basketball and softball.
A fully equipped media center is open for the students daily, and the Fossil Ridge Library is just one step from our playground.
Reed Custer Intermediate School is truly a community of learners. We are fortunate to have a wonderful facility, dedicated staff, involved parents and active learners. We believe in a collaborative atmosphere where all of the stakeholders help to make decisions. As an elementary school staff, we are always looking for ways to improve student learning.
