Greetings, Kids!

This year (1998-99) our third grade class from Custer Park Elementary School is once again sending a classroom mascot around the world.

(Last year we sent several teddy bears around the world. You can read about that project here.)

Now on to this year...

We plan to learn a great deal about the people and places in this wonderful world of ours, thanks to Mascot Mark,

our traveling puppy!

Of course Mark was named after the new homerun king,

Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals!

September 1998 - Virginia, USA

October 1998 - Malaysia

November 1998 - Australia

December 1998 - home for the holidays

January 1999 - South Africa

February - home for state testing!

March - England

April - A Surprise Visit!!

May - home just in time for summer vacation!
