ATA from Midway to Maui

Our "non-stop" flight from Midway to Maui actually stopped in Phoenix just long enough to refuel. After an in-flight lunch, an on-board movie, a few trips to the restroom, and a few rounds of cards, about nine hours later, the captain could be heard saying something like this, "Ladies and gentlemen please fasten your seatbelts and keep them fastened for the remainder of the trip. We will begin our descent and will be landing at Kahului Airport on the beautiful island of Maui in approximately fifteen minutes. Thank you for flying ATA and we hope you enjoy your visit to the islands."
