Out to lunch at Moose Magillicuddy's!

After shopping and purchasing Keiki Bear (Hawaiian for "child"), Mrs. & Mrs. Johnson treated the bears to lunch at Moose Magillicuddy's in downtown Lahaina. Shopping in Lahaina provides a wide selection of Hawaiian merchandise for travellers. As most of the restaurants on Maui are, Moose Magillicuddy's is an open air restaurant. It is located on the second floor of the building, which provides visitors a great view of the streets, shoppers, and sights below.

Special food note: while in Hawaii, the "Hula Pie" is a must! It can be found at a wonderful restaurant called Leilani's on the beach at Whaler's Village in Kaanapali.

Hula Pie consists of macadamia nut ice creams with a chocolate cookie crust, topped with chocolate fuldge, whipped cream, and more macadamia nuts ... a dessert sent from heaven for the chocolate lover!
