After a forty-five minute drive from Kahului Airport to the Ka'anapali Beach area, we arrived at the Royal Lahaina Resort, our home away from home for a week. We were not dissapointed! The grounds were beautiful, the people were friendly, and we were ready to begin having fun! In honor of the Johnson's 30th anniversary, our lodging was upgraded from a hotel room to a cottage - a wonderful, and most appreciated surprise!
One of the many plants native to the islands is this Traveller Palm, which we saw on the grounds of the Royal Lahaina Resort. One of the oldest resorts in the Ka'anapali area, the Royal Lahaina is a great place to stay! Below, bears just want to have fun climbing trees!
