The RCMS Media Center uses the Follett automation system which provides access to all materials in the middle school collection. The system allows the user to search for all types of materials which are cataloged in the system including print materials, audiovisual materials, videos, software, and periodical titles.
The Media Center has Macintosh computers for student use. The computers serve multiple functions allowing access to Internet, magazines in full-text and indexing, online database searching, word processing, and other functions. Accelerated Reading tests are taken on these computers also.
